A Healthy Snack for 20 Hungry Teenage Girls
Being the mother of three beautiful teenage girls is a blessing and a wonderful challenge. I enjoying cooking for them and the rest of my family, however sometimes it's hard to find something to feed them that is both delicious and healthy. Wouldn't you agree?
Well, I have a solution to that problem for you!
This easy-to-make snack I created is a healthier version of a chewy gooey Rice Krispie treat, which my daughters and their friends all love to eat. Healthy & wonderfully delicious? That's not an easy combination, however this recipe from SBNutritionGeek will be sure to make their mouths water and have them asking for more:
Ingredients:
• 6 cups air popped popcorn
• 3 tbsp kerrygold butter
• 2 cups mini marshmallows
• 1/8 cup agave nectar
• 3 tbsp ground almond meal
• 3 tbsp ground chia
• 2 cups Kix cereal
• 1 cup pretzel sucks broken into pieces
• 1 cup chopped walnuts.
Directions:
Melt butter, marshmallow and agave then add remaining ingredients. Fill cupcake liners and serve. Super easy 👍
